How to Perform a New Year Goals Ceremony
As someone who is deeply passionate about the power of intention setting and manifestation, I always feel a wave of excitement as the rush (and expense) of Christmas finally settles and the anticipation of a new year beckons.
For most of us, a new year is a chance to cleanse and walk away from old energy as we invite in a fresh start. It’s an opportunity to draw a line in the sand and either do things differently or lean into what went well for us in the previous year.
The Lesser Known Psychic Claires
I previously shared about the four main psychic abilities - ‘Claires’. This time, I want to explore the four lesser-known Claires to see if they resonate with you
Exploring the 'Claires': Unveiling Your Psychic Gifts
As we deepen our spiritual journeys, many of us begin to notice intuitive gifts unfolding within us. These gifts, often referred to as the "Claires," represent different ways we receive intuitive or psychic information. Understanding them can help us embrace and strengthen our unique abilities and, if we are in a healing field such a Reiki Healing, it can offer a richer experience to those we are working with.
Here’s a closer look at four of the most commonly experienced ‘Claires’:
What is Grounding
Grounding describes a state where we are fully present and fully connected to our body. Chemically, our grounded body is in balance and free radicals and inflammation that can lead to disease are easily destroyed.
Being Vague
Sometimes we can become complacent about the Law of Attraction and forget that it takes almost constant practice to master a law that's always working. If we're thinking a thought or experiencing an emotion often enough, we will soon attract a reality that matches those thoughts and emotions.
From Self Sabotage to Self Success
Our deep rooted beliefs can consistently sabotage a specific area of our lives such as money, relationships or career, making us feel like we have no control over that particular area even though all other aspects of our lives are working fine.
Reiki Kotodama Healing with the 3rd Reiki Symbol
To continue our exploration of Reiki symbol kotodama (spirit word), today, I’ll be sharing about the 3rd Reiki symbol - HON SHA ZE SHO NEN, known as the connection / oneness symbol.
Manifesting the Unknown
Every now and again we can find ourselves in a bit of dilemma where we want or are facing a change but we can’t put a name to, or even visualise what that change should be. As a result we’re left feeling fearful, confused and maybe even helpless when it comes to our future…
Triggers to Move You
When working on our self-evolvement, we may have someone in our life who ‘didn’t get the memo’. This is someone who repeatedly frustrates or triggers us, taking us out of our peaceful ‘zen den' or it could be a difficult situation that we are not happy with but yet still we remain.
Should I Charge for Reiki?
This question challenges many of us when we first learn an energy modality, but it seems to be more common with Reiki healers in particular.
Some believe that energy work is a gift shown to you only so you can help others and they feel charging somehow taints that gift and activates the ego.
I want to share my feelings on this to offer another perspective for consideration.
Reiki is Not Just For Healing
Reiki is an energy healing system used to work with the body in order to bring about healing and relief. As the energy of Reiki resonates at the same frequency as love and gratitude, we can use it to positively affect many other areas of our lives, beyond healing others.
Has Reiki Stopped Working?
In all my years of teaching I can honestly say that I have never met a student who can’t do Reiki. However, on odd occasions, a student will share that they can’t feel Reiki as powerfully as they used to or as strongly as they felt in class. In my experience, there are several reasons why this might happen so I will explore a few of these reasons below:
Spiritual Boundaries
If you are a healer or if you want to activate your 3rd eye and connect more strongly to your intuition / psychic abilities, then it’s important to set some spiritual boundaries. Learn how…
Men Need Healing Too
When starting as a Reiki Practitioner almost 10 years ago, I was adamant that I only wanted to work with women. Seeing clients at my home brought up concerns of safety so at the time this felt like the best option for me. Then one day, during my morning reiki meditation, I heard 'Men need healing too'. I remember feeling a strong sense of compassion for men and could see how much they needed a way to heal for the benefit of all humanity.
Shift Your Work Reality
Recently several coaching clients and students have told me how much they dislike their current job. Each of them has carved out long-term, stressful, well-paying careers that they somehow fell into and now they feel stuck.
Transforming Relationships with Mindfulness
Love relationships, while beautiful, can sometimes be a source of deep suffering. Misunderstandings, unmet expectations, and emotional wounds can create barriers between partners. I have been immersing myself in the work of the late author and Zen Buddhist Monk, Thich Nhat Hanh.
Fearing Self Love
Although most of us understand that self-love is one of the major components of any healing journey, self love can be the hardest thing to begin to contemplate for many of my clients. It's a challenge I can emphasise with, as it took me decades to finally feel that unconditional love for myself.
The Reiki Master’s Journey
I've just returned from facilitating the Reiki Master Course Retreat in Seaford with such a joyful heart. There's always a common theme for each group which usually becomes apparent during the sharing of our personal journeys on Day 1.
Understanding The Sacral Chakra
Chakra means wheel and refers to a vortex of three-dimensional energy that governs certain emotions and the organs / glands residing within that chakra. The sacral chakra sits at our lower abdomen, below the navel. It resonates with the water element and is said to be orange in colour
What is Living a Soft Life
In a world that often glorifies hustle culture and celebrates constant productivity, it's easy to lose sight of the importance of living softly but what exactly does it mean to live a 'soft life'? Is it about lounging around, doing nothing with no real purpose, or is there something deeper to it?
