Manifesting the Unknown
Every now and again we can find ourselves in a bit of dilemma where we want or are facing a change but we can’t put a name to, or even visualise what that change should be. As a result we’re left feeling fearful, confused and maybe even helpless when it comes to our future.
We can also become seriously stuck due to the intensity of worry we hold about what lies ahead because we simply don’t know what we’re meant to be aiming for in our manifestation work.
Moving Locations
This has come up several times for both my coaching clients and reiki students. I recall two of my reiki students in particular during separate classes. One was moving with her husband to Los Angeles due to a secondment by her company, the other was moving to Dubai with her family also due to work. Both we’re filled with trepidation about the move they were having to face. As you can imagine, moving to another country, leaving your family, friends and even culture behind is a massive life change.
Neither knew what to expect and so struggled to set any intentions to focus on for manifestation. They literally didn’t know what they were calibrating to.
Career Change
The same dilemma can present itself when we’re looking for a new, more fulfilling career but we don’t know what that career or job title is, or if such a career even exists! Several of my coaching clients have had this exact dilemma.
Make the Unknown Known
In both of the above scenarios, and for any circumstance where we want something different but we can’t confidently name what that is, there is one thing we do know that we can bring into our manifestation workshop… We know how we want to feel.
This is how we make the unknown, known. If we don’t immediately know how we want to feel, we definitely know how we don’t want to feel.. so start there and reverse it.
Focus on the sensations you would be experiencing if you were in your future situation, as if it’s already happened and connect to those feelings in a daily manifestation script or visualisation.
So if you’re relocating to another country you might write …
“I am so happy and grateful that our move to Los Angeles has been a beautiful, magical story. We’ve made so many new friends. Everyone here has been so welcoming, accepting and loving. We do so many interesting, fun activities together. We absolutely love our new home. Everything here feels easy and soul nourishing. Our friends and family from the UK come and visit us regularly. The kids settled into school really quickly and we both love our jobs! The most magical thing of all is, this move has made our family even closer.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.”
You can do this for the manifestation of an unknown career or any ‘unknown’ future by connecting to how you want to feel.
Let me know if you give it a try!
With love and light
