Reiki is Not Just For Healing
Reiki is an energy healing system used to work with the body in order to bring about healing and relief.
As the energy of Reiki resonates at the same frequency as love and gratitude, we can use it to positively affect many other areas of our lives, beyond healing others.
Here are 9 creative ways to use Reiki:
Water
There have been a few experiments with reiki and water. The molecules of the reiki water change and become huge starbursts. Whenever I do this the water also becomes thicker and silkier in texture with a cleaner taste. If you are familiar with the water experiments of Dr Emoto in the 90's then you know that water is easily affected by energy.
Food
Food is also made up of molecules, so giving our food reiki will ensure we get all of the benefits and what can't be used by the body will be gotten rid of. Many cultures practice blessing their food before eating and this is why.
Plants
Giving reiki to your plants or cut flowers will allow them to thrive. I'm not green-fingered, so I've had to do this several times with my poor plants and they're all flourishing now.
Past / Karma / Inner Child
You can powerfully reiki your past to shift your perception of that moment and send light to all involved.
Crystals
Instead of cleansing your crystals by leaving them in sunlight, moonlight or washing them in salt water, you can give them reiki to charge them with your intention.
Situations
If you fear an upcoming situation may be difficult or you want it to go well, you can send reiki to heal the energy.
Future Goals
If you write a list of goals or if you have a vision board, you can activate them with reiki for a few minutes a day for 21 days or until it manifests.
Work
You can send Reiki to a work meeting or an interview before it takes place, intending for it to be productive, easy, collaborative, etc. You can also Reiki an email or social media post before you send it so people can feel the energy of your good intentions.
Home
Giving Reiki to each room in your home is essential to do every now and again to shift the energy. This is particularly good to do if there has been a death in the family, if you've just moved in or if suddenly there are lots of arguments. Reiki can transmute the energy into one that is harmonious, calming and welcoming, whilst protecting the household from harm.
There are many ways to bring Reiki into your daily life. The list above could have been much longer. If you like any of the above or if there is something you use Reiki for other than healing others, let me know!
With love and light
