Being Vague
It was great to be back in Amsterdam last weekend for the Abraham Hick's Law of Attraction Workshop.
Sometimes we can become complacent about the Law of Attraction and forget that it takes almost constant practice to master a law that's always working. If we're thinking a thought or experiencing an emotion often enough, we will soon attract a reality that matches those thoughts and emotions. The Law of Attraction isn't discerning. It doesn't care if our thoughts are positive or negative. It will always attract a vibrational match... Always.
I know I'm not sharing anything new here, many of us know this is how it works, so why is it so hard to practice?
At the Workshop, it was interesting to see three people in a row, struggle to express what they wanted to Abraham. They all had great questions about relationships, (which became the emerging theme of the weekend), but when Abraham asked them to go into a mini-positive story about what they wanted and how they would feel if they had it, each one found themselves stumbling and using very 'vague', one-word answers.
It was obvious that, in their personal lives, they had only focused on and shared stories about their problems and lack of the thing they wanted. It was a little uncomfortable to watch, not least because those of us in the audience realised we probably wouldn't have faired much better if called upon to rampage about our desires. 😅
It also explained why their new relationship wasn't coming. They hadn't practiced thinking or talking positively about it or feeling into the higher emotions of what they wanted. The Law of Attraction will always match what we are radiating out.
What are you presenting to the field?
If there's something you want to attract but it's taking its time, try exploring the following in your journal:
What's your typical narrative about it?
What beliefs do you have about it?
How do you feel about it not being here yet?
Set the timer on your phone and spend 1 minute talking about it as though you already have it.
Did you struggle to do this? If so, what came up for you?
Let me know how you get on. 💜

Have a playful Sunday!
