The Power of Distance Healing
One of the most beautiful things about Reiki is that it keeps unfolding. Just when you think you understand this mystical modality, another doorway opens.
This week in our Reiki Teaching and Self-Practice group, we explored distance healing and it was a profound experience.
I decided to teach the group something very unique. something I use on myself occasionally but have never taught before - We practised sending Reiki, not to anyone else, but to ourselves across time and space. 🤯
The healing in the session was incredibly strong. We were all surprised by the intensity of energy we could feel.
Distance healing is truly a gift. It expands what we thought was possible as it reminds us how intelligent and limitless Reiki really is. Just as importantly, it allows us to offer Reiki to anyone, no matter where they are in the world. This is one of the reasons why I love teaching Reiki 2.
GOING DEEPER WITH THE ENERGY
I know some people think Reiki 2 is only for those who want to start a Reiki business but that’s not true at all. Reiki 2 is about deepening your personal healing and spiritual journey.
When you are attuned to the 1000 year old Reiki symbols, your connection with the energy immediately expands.
The symbols help you work at a deeper energetic level, supporting emotional healing, strengthening your intuition and allowing Reiki to flow in more focused ways.
BUILDING CONFIDENCE WITH REIKI
We spend more time in Reiki 2 practicing together, compared to Reiki 1. This extra practice has a huge impact on the confidence of students.
Everything we do is fully guided, so even if you feel a little rusty or haven’t been practising recently, it’s a wonderful way to reconnect with Reiki again.
In honour of the eastern side of Reiki, I share intuitive techniques that help students trust their own inner guidance when working with others. This not only boosts their confidence, it helps them realise that Reiki is not something complicated but something they can naturally connect with and trust.
If you’ve completed Reiki Level 1 with either myself or another Reiki Master and feel a gentle calling to go deeper, Reiki 2 might be your next step.
