Releasing Money Karma and Breaking Cycles of Lack
I’ve just completed the ‘Release Your Money Karma’ transition with my wonderful ladies in my Higher Goddess Ascension coaching group and I have to say, it was deep and incredibly shifting work.
If we find ourselves locked in a cycle of lack when it comes to money and we can’t figure out why; If money disappears just as quickly as it came, if we find it hard to save or grow our money and we feel we are always living hand-to-mouth, then we might need to go a little deeper in order to break that cycle and call in our abundance.
MONEY BELIEFS
Money is energy and that’s it. How much of it flows or doesn’t flow into our lives is completely dictated by our inner beliefs about money, our mindset and our vibrational frequency.
If we believe that ‘money is the root of all evil’ or that ‘you have to work hard for money’ then this is exactly what life will present to us. Our reality cannot go against our inner beliefs.
EMOTIONAL MONEY BLOCKS
Here are some of the emotional indicators that can show up if we have deep money blocks:
Only wanting ‘just enough’ to get by
Not feeling worthy or deserving of more
Being unable to receive from others
A constant feeling of scarcity
Giving to others whilst going without
Fear of losing money if you have too much
Sabotaging yourself when more money comes in
Not spending any money at all due to future fears
Anxiety when checking your bank account or opening letters
Complete avoidance of the above due to fear
Being unable to save
Feeling unable to charge what you deserve for your services
Worrying people will judge you if you have too much money
Feeling a high or buzz when shopping
Emotional shopping when feeling down or depressed
Avoiding learning the basics about money and finances so you can become financially literate
GENERATIONAL MONEY BLOCKS
Some of our limited beliefs about money or money blocks are not even our own. They can be inherited from our primary caregivers without us even realising it, so it’s important to explore how we witnessed money being handled or talked about whilst growing up.
Perhaps your mother was a saver and your father was a spender. Maybe your mother always complained about not having enough money or your father was mean with his money. Did your mother only ever buy discounted items or was one parent a gambler?
Growing up, did you hear phrases like:
‘We are poor’
‘No we can’t afford that’
‘I’m not made of money’
‘Rich people are greedy’
Any limiting beliefs about money could be affecting the amount you attract, your spending habits, your ability to save and your emotional response to money so it’s important to explore them, reflect on them and change those cycles.
With love and light
