Will You Go Back?

It's often said that the most important relationship is your relationship with you.

One of my clients came to me only a few weeks after a breakup that she was looking to heal from.

Since the break up she was no longer her lively, self-motivated, outgoing self. She was constantly feeling anxious and her friends were worried because of how withdrawn she had become. 

She shared that she was going through the motions in her role at work and coming home to an empty flat every evening filled her with dread because she hated being alone.

Knowing the experience of my past clients (and myself), I cautioned her that once we started doing the work to move through her heartache and reconnect her with her highest self, her vibrational energy would powerfully shift. This makes it highly likely that her ex, subconsciously sensing a lack of resistance and a radiation of the original energy that first connected them, could magically re-appear in her life.

After a few weeks of coaching and healing, she was in a much better headspace and feeling more like her confident self again. Then one day, as predicted, she called to tell me that her ex had been in touch and wanted them to get back together.

She didn't mindlessly dive back in however.
Instead she had the presence of mind to pause so she could consider the best path for her. Very proud...

In these circumstances, the Universe is watching our next move very closely. Are we going to choose to go back as the old self and risk the same issues coming up, are we going to go back but set some boundaries and conditions or are we going to continue our forward momentum into the new reality we've been calling in?
