Understanding Anger
Anger comes in many guises.
Some will say they hardly ever get angry, not realising that anger has a spectrum...a range.
On that spectrum, lives frustration, irritation, impatience and annoyance.
All of these emotions are in fact, various expressions of anger.
I find they often come up when the base emotion of anger hasn't been adequately processed or healed.
The cause of our anger might relate to a specific event, a series of connected events or it could be targeted at a particular sector of humanity.
Either way, if left unattended, our anger will begin to bleed through any gap it can find, leading us to over-react to issues which, on reflection are often very trivial.
The challenge is to notice that it's happening, receive the lesson and decide what to do about it.
In my talk for the 2nd Annual Awakening Conference, I'll be diving deeper into this fascinating topic.
I'll share my reflections on the two key things anger is trying to teach us and offer energetic tools to help us be with our anger, frustration, impatience, irritation, annoyance...in a new way.
