3 Effective Self Love Tips

One of the things I love hearing my clients say at the end of our journey together is that they now love themselves more than ever before. Many have moved from a place of real self-loathing, self-critical thinking and low self-confidence, to an elevated state of self-soothing, self-nurturing and self-compassion.

From true self-love comes a sense of fulfilment, inner-peace and inner-strength that, as I mentioned last week, we thought only existed outside of ourselves.

Here are 3 simple ways for you to try in order to nurture more self-love:

For the next 7 days...

  1. Change self-critical thoughts to thoughts that soothe and support you.

  2. Place your hands on your heart in daily 5-minute meditation and feel the emotion of love, then direct that love to you.

  3. Every time you look in the mirror this week, say something kind to yourself. it could be 'I love you <your name>.' or 'You're doing ok' or 'I like you <your name>.'
