I Don’t Know My Purpose
I’ve had some uplifting conversations this week with women seeking clarity about what’s calling them. Many reminded me of how many of can be, wearing a very strong, confident external persona - the ‘go to’ person for everyone else, but inside there’s a yearning to feel the safety of being supported too, to feel the freedom that comes from allowing vulnerability, a desire to find space to finally tend to their own needs.
The gifts they wanted to express in this lifetime and the offerings they wanted to create were truly exciting and potentially very impactful but the fear of judgement, overwhelm and lack of self-belief has left them frozen.
This is why I do what I do - To gently lift away the fears and limiting beliefs sitting like a heavy weight over their desires and then in just a short time, watch as these incredible women begin to rise and bring their calling to life.
I DON’T KNOW WHAT MY PURPOSE IS
If you don’t yet know your purpose (which can morph and change by the way…), be patient, it may be that you’re still in the gathering stages, working out what you like and what you don’t like. You might currently be trying different things: courses, healing modalities, crafts, and visiting different places. When you find your purpose, you’ll be able to connect the dots looking backwards.
“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future.”
Your purpose may be a culmination of everything that has excited you along the way - from your childhood to now, peppered with some practical, mundane yet essential skills you’ve acquired. None of it will be wasted. Simply continue playing until one day, you ‘just know’.
