Great Bright Light
I arrived back from my Reiki Master/Teacher Retreat earlier this year with my heart full - still vibrating and fizzing with energy. As with the other reiki courses, the reiki master course isn't just about learning the teachings, it's also a very profound healing journey for everyone attending. This was an incredibly intuitive and compassionate group so there were many shifts, epiphanies and releases.
Some felt the energy of loved ones who had transitioned supporting them in a deeply moving way. Others who had previously struggled with their heart chakra had their hearts opened by the brightest and most divine light, leaving them with an inner sense of connection to all of humanity. For others, there was an unexpected release of physical pain after months of suffering. Each had their own personal experience and moved through the retreat in their own delicate way.
The Reiki Master symbol means 'Great bright light' which refers to enlightenment. It adds light and brings pure consciousness to anything it touches, transmuting it back to love. The energy of the Reiki Master Symbol permeated the wonderful journey experienced by the students this week. There was a remembering of that love and their innate goodness. It was awe-inspiring to witness even the quietest of students confidently stepping into their light as we synchronised with the frequency of this intelligent, loving, healing energy.
I always feel extremely honoured to be able to facilitate this journey and hold space in this way.
Most of my Reiki Master students enjoy their time at the Retreat so much that they frequently request a reunion so they can be with each other again, practice reiki and enjoy the beauty of Seaford. If you are one of my Reiki Masters, you'll be pleased to know that I have finally listened and will be hosting a 3-day Reiki Master Reconnection in July 2024.
