What Distance Reiki Revealed to Me
Whilst guiding my Reiki 2 students through sending Distance Reiki to their practice partner in the other room, I often use the opportunity to send Reiki to someone who needs it.
On this particular day, I was strongly inspired to send Reiki to myself using a surrogate, to help heal a problem I was facing, something I'd never thought about doing in my 8 years of teaching.
What happened next astounded me.
When I sent Reiki to my heart chakra, I had a vivid image of a woman.
Her head and shoulders were wrapped in a dark blue scarf and she was staring right at me.
I instantly knew it was me but not me in this lifetime.
She was a past version of myself who somehow is still present in my energy but I recognised her face as mine.
Although I could only see her head and shoulders, I knew she was standing in the desert as a mini sandstorm swirled around her head but her eyes remained wide open...staring, completely unaffected.
PONDERING OUR INFINITY
I instantly got a strong sense of my own infinity, and if I am infinite, perhaps having lived thousands of lives, so are you.
In the larger context of this infinity, my problem diminished and I fell into a place of deep inner peace
We know energy never dies; it just transforms, so if we are energy, then we will also always exist in some form or another, although the dimension may vary.
It's a powerful feeling that frees us from the need to control, fix, or get things perfectly right.
In the end, no matter what happens, we know we'll be ok because we are infinitely bigger than the problem.
I guided the Reiki Teachings and Self-Practice group through the distance self-Reiki healing a couple of months ago.
We all found it was incredibly strong. For me, it feels like I'm receiving Reiki from my higher self.
