Introduction to Meditation and Mindfulness - 4 Week Live Online Course

This enjoyable 4 week course is designed for those who are either new to meditation or those who may have tried meditation but they still consider themselves beginners.

As well as gaining an understanding of the benefits of meditation, you will learn about and practice different meditation styles each week. Participants will also have plenty of time for reflection and questions.

Each week will build on the previous week as I guide you from basic breathing techniques to visualisations, mindful body scanning and sound meditations.

The course will include the following:


  • A short explanation of the history of meditation

  • Understand the benefits of meditation with scientific evidence.

  • Learn and practice different styles of meditation.

  • Learn how to deal with challenges to meditation.

  • Learn how to begin and maintain a daily meditation practice

  • Be guided through each 10-30 minute meditation


Online Information

The course will be run via Zoom. Links for each week will be sent to you at the time of registration with a weekly reminder.


The Course will run for 4 consecutive weeks, starting on Tuesday 2nd June June from 7.30pm to 9.00pm and will repeat each week at on the same day / time.

What You Need

  • Water or herbal tea to drink after meditations

  • A notebook / journal and pen to capture your reflections.

  • A comfortable, quiet place to be where you will not be disturbed.
