I have been reflecting on how miraculous the human body is and the quest to understand more. is exposing me to new insights all the time.
The process of accepting a negative emotion or a painful part of our body, works so well that you can reduce emotion or pain in less than 10 minutes.
Below I've shared 3 examples that reveal how little we really understand about our physical body and its limitlessness.
Before we were due to meet at our Retreat, I caught a chill whilst shopping at the supermarket. The store was so cold I literally felt it inside of me so by the time I got home my nose was streaming and I was sneezing constantly. I worried I might have to cancel the Meditation Retreat but then I decided to see what I could do to bring myself to health.
First, I stopped affirming ‘I am sick’ and started affirming ‘I am healing’. Then I drank loads of lemon and ginger tea with manuka honey and took some vitamins. I also visualised light energy filling my entire body until I could feel my cells tingling.
The next day I was 100% well and the Retreat went ahead as planned. 🙌🎉
The Ice Man and Tibetan Monks
Wim Hof, known as the Ice Man is able to sit in a barrel of ice water for hours on end. Tibetan Monks are also able to sit atop an ice-capped mountain for hours without stress. Whilst doing so neither is trying to withstand the cold. Both are actually in deep meditation.
What's incredible is that their body temperature remains normal and the ice surrounding them begins to melt. This means that they are able to consciously control their physiology.
Wim Hof was even part of an experiment where scientists injected him with E-Coli
and within 15 minutes the E-Coli was gone from his body.
I’ve mentioned before that I've been intermittent fasting for a few weeks now and recently one of my students told me about a man who has been a Breatharian for 18 years. Yep…he doesn’t eat or drink anything! 😱
I watched his interview on Youtube and he lives only on air and Prana (life force). He meditates practices yoga and gives talks on his lifestyle. It isn’t something I would do and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else either but it is fascinating.
My theory is that when our life force energy flowing through our body is at a high vibration, it is fully able to sustain the body in a way that is completely different to someone who is not eating because they are in pain or mental suffering in some way, resulting in a much lower frequency of energy within which the body cannot thrive.
Our body is capable of so much more than we know so we shouldn’t take it for granted or believe that any current state of pain or dis-ease is permanent. We should also remember that our body is not separate from the spiritual aspect of ourselves but it is, in fact, Spirit manifested. 🙏🏽💕
